‘double-down’ on the persistent problems
strangling our city: our dangerous streets,
blight, a dwindling middle class with too
few economic opportunities for our young
people and our emerging entrepreneurs. |

public service career, I have successfully
represented the largest and most diverse
geographical area of the city, and have
spent my career building personal working
relationships with elected and community
leaders, local activists and non-traditional
organizers. |

the talent, grit and determination to build

our downtown and some of our neighborhoods
have turned the corner, but others continue
